I just finished the last exam of my college career!!! THAT'S INSANE IT FEELS SO SURREAL AHHH WHAT IS LIFE. It's crazy to think that my daily sense of normalcy will be pulled under the rug from me once I graduate. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'll miss school so much! I'm going to miss the late-night ramen, watching the sunrise, spontaneous hangouts, and the random events happening around campus. Most of all, I'm going to miss my friends!
The future is a scary thing. Over the past week, I've been agonizing over two options laid before me. One was a job in San Fran, the other an intensive 10 week design program. Although taking the job was a more secure choice, I wasn't so passionate about the work. Studying at the design school was a riskier move because there was no job security guaranteed afterwards, though the school would try to hook me up with potential employers. Upon the completion of the program, I hopefully would be able to get a job I was more passionate about. After talking to friends and family, I've decided:
I'll be attending the design school! My parents have been fully supportive of my decision. It's called Designation and it'll be starting July 6. If there's anytime to make a riskier decision, it's now when I'm young and have no commitments. I'll be learning more about digital design, UI, UX, and front-end development. I still hope to eventually end up in SF, as that is the hub for what I want to do. I'm very excited for the future, and am ready to tackle this new adventure!
